Yesterday, I found some gossip that Tom Tancredo was planning to announce his White House run in Iowa.  I want to state up front that I did not start out to have personal vendetta against Tancredo, but unfortunately, I see very few people trying to expose his agenda.  So, I am.  This man cannot be allowed to become the President of the United States of America.  There are several reasons, all of which will become apparent as you read through the information I am presenting here.  First, he is not a stable individual.  Secondly, he has some very tawdry little associates.  It is an old internet joke that sooner or later every argument is going to lead to either Hitler or the Nazis and the first one to mention it loses credibility.  Unfortunately Tancredo has some very questionable supporters and associates.  I DO NOT know if they are intentional associated, sought-after and cultivated, or if Tancredo's brand of bigotry and racism simply brings the bad actors out of the woodwork.  The problem is these associations do exist, either by purpose or accident.  In all fairness all politicians attract a certain element that isn’t exactly socially acceptable.  We must not fault them for this.  There are people in this world who are just plain unacceptable politically.

The problem is the fact that people believe what they want to believe.  Everyone simply laughs when presented with the pedigree of some of some of the organizations and the individuals involved with them.  I don’t even know if this will make a difference.  I hope it does.

Neo-Nazi connections to anti-immigration movement.

John Tanton is one of Tancredo's most loyal supporters.

Tancredo's associates.

MIAMIGATE

In November, Tancredo called Miami a Third World Country.

Under the I love it category, little Tommy Tancredo is back again!  This time he called Miami a third world!  I think we can now prove his anti-Hispanic racism.  I’m loving it.

“…In South Florida to attend Restoration Weekend, a gathering of conservative activists, the Colorado Republican, whose district includes suburbs of Denver, pointed to Miami as an example of how ''the nature of America can be changed by uncontrolled immigration,'' the story says….The remarks drew an instant rebuke from Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who called Tancredo ''flat out wrong'' and extended an invitation for him to come and judge the city for himself….''I invite my friend, Tom, to visit beautiful Miami, my hometown, and experience firsthand our hospitality,'' Ros-Lehtinen said. ``Come on down, Tom, the water's fine!'' Miami, Ros-Lehtinen said, is a ``world-class city where diversity is celebrated. Here people have the opportunity to meet folks from across the globe and honor different cultures. Miami-Dade County is home to many outstanding universities, is headquarters to international businesses and has a vibrant economy.''…''While a recent documentary comparison of Miami-Dade County to Baghdad was a bit of an overstatement,'' he wrote, referring to an Australian documentary, ``no one can argue that it is not one of America's most dangerous areas.''… He noted in the e-mail that the number of homicides in the county recently reached 200 for the year. The number is actually a decrease from the 1980s….''Moreover, the sheer size and number of ethnic enclaves devoid of any English and dominated by foreign cultures is widespread,'' Tancredo said in the statement. ``Frankly, many of these areas could have been located in another country. And until America gets serious about demanding assimilation, this problem will continue to spread.''…Tancredo didn't visit Miami on the Nov. 18-19 trip, but has visited before, a spokesman said. And, if Ros-Lehtinen's invitation includes ''a stay at a five-star beachfront resort, he may be willing to look beyond the inherent dangers that he had cited and visit Miami again,'' his spokesman said….''He is going to do what he can to create a place where the idea of America is just that -- it's an idea,'' Tancredo said. ``It's not an actual place defined by borders. I mean this is where this guy is really going.''

heart, is now insisting Miami is the murder capital of the US!  I have an idea this is what set off the WND little RIGHT truth piece.

"...During an interview with U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) about his controversial comments equating Miami to a "Third World country," the November 28 broadcast of KMGH's 7News Now at 4 p.m. aired Tancredo's false claim that Miami is the "murder capital of the world." In fact, according to the most recent figures from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), a number of U.S. cities with populations of at least 250,000 have significantly higher murder rates than Miami. Tancredo also claimed during the broadcast that his comments "ha[ve] nothing to do with race." However, Tancredo spokesman Carlos Espinosa told The Denver Post that the congressman's statements about Miami being a "Third World country" were in reference to Miami's Haitian-American population, which is predominantly black...."

Tancredo Watch has finally picked up on TT's latest FIM (Foot in Mouth) bluder where he compared Miami to a Third World Country.  The President's brother, the Governor of Florida, commented, "What a nut!"

"...Florida Gov. Jeb Bush called a Colorado congressman "a nut" Wednesday after the fellow Republican likened Miami to a Third World country. "What a nut," Bush told reporters in Tallahassee. "I'm just disappointed. First of all, he's from my own party. He's a Republican. He doesn't represent my views or the views of most Republicans in this state.Miami is a beautiful place. ... I love Miami," Bush said. "It's insulting for someone who really doesn't know the community, its heartbeat, to say those things."

The public spat began 10 days ago when U.S. Rep. Thomas Tancredo was attending a gathering of conservative activists at The Breakers in Palm Beach and said in an interview with WorldNetDaily, a conservative online newspaper: "Look at what has happened to Miami. It has become a Third World country. "You just pick it up and take it and move it someplace. You would never know you're in the United States of America. You would certainly say you're in a Third World country." Tancredo chairs the bipartisan House Immigration Reform Caucus and led House efforts this year to authorize a fence along the U.S.-Mexico border.

His comment brought a letter Tuesday from Bush to the congressman in which he called Miami a "wonderful city filled with diversity and heritage that we choose to celebrate, not insult.'' Bush wrote that Florida's diversity is the reason it leads the nation in creating jobs, and he noted that Miami's crime rate has declined annually since 1999. "Perhaps your naive comments served as a good reminder for everyone to lessen the anger, frustration and emotion surrounding the issue of immigration," Bush wrote. "Overheated rhetoric won't solve this issue. We need a comprehensive solution that will require cooler heads to prevail." In a note at the bottom of his letter, Bush said he hoped Tancredo would accept an offer from U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Miami, urging him to visit the city.

Tancredo responded Wednesday in a letter to Bush, saying he understood why the governor was trying to "create the illusion of Miami as a multiethnic 'All American' city." But Tancredo said it was "neither naive nor insulting to call attention to a real problem that cannot be easily dismissed through politically correct happy talk." He added, "Unfortunately, fewer and fewer Miamians think of themselves as Americans."..."

Then there is this column by Jim DeFede

"...MIAMI When I first heard that Representative Tom Tancredo called Miami a Third World Country, my first reaction was to laugh and say, ‘Well yeah, tell me something I don't know.’

I mean, driving in some neighborhoods, you're just as likely to accidentally hit a chicken with your car as a dog.

But the more I thought about Tancredo's comments, the angrier I got. It's okay when we refer to ourselves as a Third World Country, but I don't like the idea of some xenophobic Congressman from Colorado calling us a Third World country.

It's like with family. You can make fun of your brothers and sisters all you want, but woe be the outsider that says anything unkind about your siblings.

And let's not kid ourselves, when Tancredo called Miami a third world country, that was code for brown skinned people. His point is that illegal immigration has ruined Miami. He argues that if you come to Miami it won't feel like you are in America anymore.

Well here's an update: Miami looks a heck of a lot more like America than the affluent suburbs of Denver that Tancredo represents.

Miami is a city of dreams. People risk their lives to come here because they want to be a part of America, they want the freedom, the opportunity this country offers.

Tancredo derides Miami as a town in which immigrants refuse to assimilate and won't speak English. I know this is a popular view, even locally among bitter old-timers, but it is simply not true
. ..."

And over at World Nut Daily, TT is once again dissing Miami

"...In the original interview with WND, Tancredo also said President Bush believes America should be more of an idea than an actual place, claiming the president sought to merge the U.S. with Mexico and Canada into a North America Union....

"People have to understand what we're talking about here. The president of the United States is an internationalist," Tancredo had said. "He is going to do what he can to create a place where the idea of America is just that – it's an idea. It's not an actual place defined by borders. I mean this is where this guy is really going."

Tancredo lashed out at the White House's lack of action in securing U.S. borders, and said efforts to merge the U.S. with both Mexico and Canada is not a fantasy.

"I know this is dramatic – or maybe somebody would say overly dramatic – but I'm telling you, that everything I see leads me to believe that this whole idea of the North American Union, it's not something that just is written about by right-wing fringe kooks. It is something in the head of the president of the United States, the president of Mexico, I think the prime minister of Canada buys into it. ...

"And they would just tell you, 'Well, sure, it's a natural thing. It's part of the great globalization ... of the economy.' They assume it's a natural, evolutionary event that's going to occur here. I hope they're wrong and I'm going to try my best to make sure they're wrong. But I'm telling you the tide is great. The tide is moving in their direction. We have to say that." ..."

This is something from back in October when Tancredo was in a fight with a credible Dem opponant. The Pink Flamingo, Oct. 6

Maybe we ain't heard nutin' yet.  If the Colorado Confidential is correct, fasten you seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.  Today the Rocky Mountain News reports that Tancredo had his primary opponant (Republican I might add) illegaly detained...it's okay guys, the man is Mexican, so it doesn't matter. We all know Tancredo and his bunch don't give a rip about Mexicans.  It's the new "In" Racism.

This is good dodo!  According to the Rocky Mountain News.  This may be the next big GOP Scandal. (Article in full)

"U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo told Capitol police last spring he felt threatened by a news release distributed by write-in candidate Juan Botero, who wound up facing a squad of armed officers and being detained and questioned for four hours. Botero accused his fellow Republican on Wednesday of overreacting. "It was very intimidating, there is no question about that," said Botero, a media consultant and former TV cameraman. "He (Tancredo)crossed the line on this." On May 11, Botero sent the Washington press corps a release urging them to investigate Tancredo, whom he is opposing in the 6th Congressional District election. He also sent a copy of the statement to Tancredo's office. "I can be a reasonable guy, but if my colleagues don't play by the rules, I have what it takes to get them to wake up and do their job," Botero wrote. "If you know anything about the training by Colombian Commandos, you will know that underneath a soldier's suave demeanor, there is a fierce and highly trained warrior that can overwhelm you if you're not careful," he continued. "I hope that I don't have to go to the next level in this process, but I am running out of options and patience with every passing minute of media silence." Botero said those comments were directed to the media, but that Tancredo took them as a threat against him.

Botero said he initially was contacted by telephone at his Washington hotel May 12 and was told by a "Secret Service agent" that he was under investigation and could face a decade in prison for an alleged threat against Tancredo. When he met the agent on a Washington sidewalk the following Monday, Botero said, 10 armed, uniformed officers approached him, asked if he was armed, then searched him and his belongings. Botero said he later was taken to Capitol police headquarters, locked in a guarded room and interviewed while the agency ran a background check that resulted in a 3-inch thick file. "I was interrogated for about four hours," Botero said. "I was told that I was being investigated because he (Tancredo) said I was a threat to him physically. I was completely humiliated. I had never had a brush with law enforcement in my life."

Capitol police confirmed Wednesday that Botero was detained, but would not comment on his account of the incident. "Much of the information you are asking me about is something we don't discuss only because it's very sensitive," said Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, Capitol police spokeswoman. "We don't routinely discuss cases that we have working or closed within the Capitol Police."Tancredo would not comment. After Botero questioned why Tancredo refused to participate in a 6th Congressional District candidate forum Wednesday, Tancredo's campaign manager, Jacque Ponder, issued a written statement that alludes to Botero's run-in with police. "Neither Tom nor anyone from our organization will participate in any event at which Mr. Botero is present. Mr. Botero's past behavior and statements have influenced this decision." Botero said Capitol police told him to return to Denver, avoid contact with Tancredo and to check in with them on a regular basis.  The case, he said, eventually was closed in September."

The Colorado Confidential has been on TT's back for refusing to debate  his opponant Bill WinterSquare State has connected the dots.

On October 24 I reported that Tancredo had hired illegal workers. It isn't a biggie, just fun.

FYI - Progress Now is reporting that TT hired illegal workers to do some work on his house a few years ago.  Just thought you  might enjoy the little ironic pause in this crazy mixed up election period.

Tancredo is the gift that just keeps on giving.  On Christmas Day I posted this one over at The Pink Flamingo.

Maybe he just can’t help it.  Maybe his racism is showing.  Now Tancredo wants businesses to scale back on marketing to Hispanics in Spanish.    Once again he proves he knows absolutely nothing about business.  He also proves he is as regulation hungry as the most dedicated Dem.

“…U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., who has helped lead the push for tougher immigration laws, wishes companies would scale back Spanish marketing but doubts they will ever suffer a public backlash for it.  "My task in the Congress is not to make sure that any industry has a robust bottom line," Tancredo said. "Likewise, their job isn't to oversee the assimilation process in America..."

On September 21 I reported that Tancredo had joined God as one of the Pope's advisors.

I'm going to leave the latest posting on the Tancredo Watch to the Pondering American.  It's a Pope thing.  He can deal with this one.  Bottom line, TT is now advising the Pope...yep.  Square State has the best quip:  "God and Tancredo Advise Pope.  Pope Mostly Ignores Tancredo"  Okay, it's the best quip of the month, thus far!

Sept 23 we exposed Tancredo's KKK supporters.

Okay, today, September 23, 2006, you heard it here first - I will now predict that Tom Tancredo will officially call for the impeachment of George W. Bush.  Why you might ask?  Well...he's going to need to divert attention away from himself and his hand picked protegeRandy Graf who has now been officially endorsed by none other than David Duke!

I just murdered an absolutely incredible post.  I'm going to try and reconstruct it.  I can't believe what I've done.

Today is one of those wonderful days.  It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....All you know what is going to break lose over this one.  And - I love it.  There are rumors that the Bin Ladin is dead, but the reports of his death have been greatly....well, you know.  So, we will just keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.  It is all well and good that Whitney Houston may have lost her biggest fan, but life sometimes sucks.  But not today!

What a day.

We can finally and concretely link the following:

Tom Tancredo

Randy Graf

David Duke

Michelle  Malkin

VDARE

Anti Bush Conservative Sentiment

KKK

GOP Progress has just broken the story that Randy Graf, the hand picked protege of widdle Tommie Tancredo, has been endorsed by none other than David Duke.  I've been telling you - for months (at The Subway Canaries), as has the Pondering American and Called As Seen .  In Human Events Tancredo Wrote..

"...Graf's biggest obstacle to victory in November will not be his Democrat opponent, but the damaged egos of the Republicans who backed Kolbe's hand-picked candidate.  They have threatened to pick up their marbles and go home.  The national Republican Party encouraged and legitimized this temper tantrum by funding Huffman in the primary. They need to step forward and tell the Kolbe faction in Tucson what Barry Goldwater told the conservatives at the National Republican Convention in Chicago in 1960: "Grow up!" Graf was the voters’ choice in the party's primary, and the Republican big wigs in Washington should give Graf the financial support needed to win.  Whether the wounds of a bitter primary can be healed before November 7 all depends on which goal these party blue bloods take more seriously—keeping this congressional seat in Republican hands or punishing the man who challenged Kolbe and beat him. The "Graf can't win" slogan always did ring hollow, and now it sounds merely petulant. Most voters can remember when that was said of Ronald Reagan's candidacy in 1980.  Like Reagan, Randy Graf may have one more surprise in store for those slow  learners in Washington...."

Okay, so Graf has denied the story and asked Duke to remove the offending link.  The Lone Donkey is having a field day with it, and has some wonderful photos.  LOL!

Now the fun part begins.  Please keep the Tancredo Human Events piece in mind as you read this from Graf's home site.  It gushes about Graf's meeting with Melhman, etc (every candidate does that after winning the primary).

"...Among those who Randy met with and who promised help were Republican Party leaders in the US House of Representatives and Ken Mehlman, Chairman of the Republican National Committee. House leaders who pledged their support in meetings with Randy Graf include Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert of Illinois, Majority Whip Roy Blunt of Missouri, Chief Deputy Majority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia, Deputy Majority Whip Tom Feeney of Florida, Republican Study Committee Chairman Mike Pence of Indiana, and NRCC Chairman Thomas M. Reynolds of New York. Each of these national party and Congressional leaders offered their support and many gave financial contributions to the Randy Graf for Congress campaign. Along with the support of national Republican leaders, Randy has received the support and endorsements of Senator Jon Kyl, and Congressmen Jeff Flake, Trent Franks, J.D. Hayworth, Rick Renzi, and John Shadegg of Arizona..."

Now, guess what has happened?  Well, the GOP has withdrawn support for Graf by pulling at least a million dollars in commercials from his district.

"...The Republican Party canceled about $1 million in advertising support for Randy Graf, a blow to his chances of winning the congressional race in southern Arizona. Graf, a conservative who has campaigned mainly on a platform of zero tolerance for illegal immigration, vowed through campaign manager R.T. Gregg to go it alone if necessary in the district once considered one of the most competitive in the nation. The ad pullback means Republicans recognize Graf's Democratic opponent, Gabrielle Giffords, has "broad bipartisan support" across the district, which runs from Tucson to the Mexican border, a Giffords spokesman said..."

I've been saying for months that the whole anti-immigration thing is going to come back to haunt the GOP.  This is a DEM press release from US Newswire.  Tancredo's meddling has caused a problem.  At least his nasty little associates have been exposed.

"To: National Desk, Political Reporter

Contact: Stacie Paxton of the DNC, 202-863-8148

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Following is a release from the Democratic National Committee:

A week after Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman vowed to supporters in an e-mail that the RNC would "hold nothing back" and "spend whatever it takes" to "maintain our majorities," it's clear that Republicans across the country will do and say just about anything to get elected - even resort to some of the most insidious forms of intolerance.

In the last week alone, a Republican candidate in Minnesota attacked his opponent's faith, young conservatives in Michigan are running dangerous and divisive "Catch an Illegal Immigrant" and "Fun With Guns" events, and an Arizona Republican Congressional candidate refused to demand that former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke remove an endorsement and a link to his campaign from Duke's website...."

Then the list of Graf's associates is exposed.  Lord have Mercy!  What the heck is going on here?

"...Arizona Republican Congressional Candidate Gets David Duke's Nod of Approval

Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Founder and former Grand Wizard David Duke praises Republican Congressional candidate Randy Graf and links to Graf's campaign website from his own. The Arizona Daily Star, however, reported that Graf campaign manager R.T. Gregg told that newspaper that "Graf has no plan" to ask David Duke to remove the link to the campaign. Graf's history may shed some light on that: (http://www.davidduke.com; Arizona Daily Star, 09/21/06)

-(- Graf Opposed Banning Cross Burning.

-- In 2004, Graf voted against HB 2694 which made it a Class 1 misdemeanor to burn a cross on another person's property without permission with the intent to intimidate any person or group of persons. (HB 2694, 5/26/04; Associated Press, 5/5/04)

-- Graf Was a Senior Advisor to a Group Led by a Self- Described "White Separatist."

-- Graf was a senior advisor to Protect Arizona Now (PAN). The chair of PAN's advisory board, Dr. Virginia Abernethy, told The Arizona Republic that she was a "white separatist."   (Expose of Abernethy and PAN over at The Subway Canaries.  It isn't good.  If Graf was involved in it - he's bad news.)

-- FAIR Donated Thousands to Graf's Campaign.  (Look over at the Subway Canaries's John Tanton archive for more information.

-- FAIR's Political Action Committee donated $5,000 to Graf's 2004 campaign for Congress. (www.tray.com) Between 1982 and 1994, FAIR received more than $1.2 million from the Pioneer Fund, a little-known foundation created in 1937 which openly supported Adolph Hitler. In fact, Paul Gemma, a known Holocaust denier, is employed at FAIR. (Center for New Community Report, Nov. 2004; The American Prospect, 11/05)..."

The worst part of it, because of Tancredo's meddling, we could lose the House.  Check out this article.

"...Officials in both parties said private polls show Graf trailing Democratic rival Gabrielle Giffords in the race to replace Republican Rep. Jim Kolbe (news, bio, voting record), who is retiring after 22 years in Congress.

The maneuvering shows the intense district-by-district competition for control of the House, with the two parties adjusting tactics frequently to take changing circumstances into account. Democrats must gain 15 seats this fall to capture control of the 435-member House.

In many circumstances, a decision to turn back reserved advertising time suggests a party has concluded it cannot prevail and prefers to spend its money on a more winnable race. In this case, the GOP advertising is expected to end on Oct. 3, rather than continue throughout the campaign...."

Here is the link to the Graf post over on Duke's site.  Don't know how much longer it will be on.  The important thing is the placing of this article and the one that follows.

The next article is called "War Criminal at Bay"  It features a photo of GWB behind bars.

"War Criminal at Bay

By Paul Craig RobertsSeptember 17th, 2006

President George Bush, betrayed by the neoconservatives whom he elevated to power and by his Attorney General, Torture Gonzales who gave him wrong legal advice, is locked in a desperate struggle with the Republican Congress to save himself from war crimes charges at the expense of America’s reputation and our soldiers’ fate. Beguiled by neoconservatives, who told him that the virtuous goals of the American empire justified any means, and misled by an incompetent Attorney General, who told him that the President of the US is above the law, Bush was deceived into committing war crimes under Article 3 of the Geneva Convention and the US War Crimes Act of 1996. Bush is now desperately trying to save himself by having the US Congress retroactively repeal both Article 3 and US law. Under the US Constitution retroactive law is without force, but desperate men will try anything. .."

Now, this is terribly important because it FINALLY links VDARE directly with David Duke.  Paul Craig Roberts is one of the main writers for VDARE.  Guess Who else writes for them? BINGO - Michelle Malkin!  As far as I am concerned, it finally places her in the racist court

I think the perfect example of Tancredo's followers is what I found over at the PHXnews.com.  I think it tells you exactly who these people are - and it definately isn't loyal Republican.

"...This information was sent to me by Sandra Miller. The Bush-McCain controlled Republican party is trying to destroy Republican candidates who will fight illegal immigration. Watch them go after Don Goldwater next. Vote OUT every Arizona congressional Republican up for re-election: Jon Kyl, John Shadagg, Rick Renzi, Trent Franks, Jeff Flake. They are among the FILTH who opposed Arizona Proposition 200. .."
